Fall Hair, Pt.3: Go Red!

Being that the “blonde bombshell” is a phrase made popular from woman as varied as Old Hollywood starlit Marilyn Monroe to female rapper Eve, blonde hair is definitely in. So now that it is approaching Fall at the end of the first decade in the new millenium, a radical dramatic change is definitely in order. For this Fall, be bold, sexy, playful and sophisticated all at once and go red!

Blondes may have always been seen as having more fun but red heads definitely bring the aire of sophistication and mystery to the table. Go red with colors that equally compliment your eye color and complexion. Brassy oranges and raging reds are out this season, instead shoot for natural looking color that will add to this aire. Since less than 2% of the population are natural red heads, you want to go red in a very low key way this season. A multi-faceted color will work best on most women, so go to a professional. Adding highlights and low lights with wisps of brunette and yes even blonde will give you a fabulous look that will absolutely transform your wardrobe for this cooler weather!

Lesson learned? Be fearless and go red with a naturally-looking red hair color that compliments your hair and your eyes. Stay away from anything brassy and loud!

Hair in braids is nothing new. This has been reinvented and redone a million times over and yet still never gets old! This Fall season, go for long messy ponytails braids that are slightly angled to the side. You will never be as versatile or unique than with this braided style!

Long braids is a such a a great style for Fall because it goes with any texture or color. The goal is to go for a long braid or a serious of small braids down your back. If you don’t quit have the length for this style, consider adding a few hair extensions for fullness and length. This style of a long braid is also very easy to maintain. This style can also go with professional garb as well as party wear without any changes to your hairstyle.

Lesson learned? Go glam with a few long braids angled to the side for Fall!
