I have a new addiction as of the moment, and it is purple eyeshadow!
For some reason I cannot pass up any shade of purple eyeshadow that I have spied lately. From soft lilac to decadent black orchid, I have been feverishly shopping for purple eyeshadows high and low. I think this is one of the most versatile beauty trends for the summer and one that should be openly embraced by every beautyseeker.
First of all, purple eyeshadows have this magical ability to adjust to the skin coloring of the wearer, this means no matter if you have a fairer or deeper complexion, one shade of purple eyeshadow will work on a vast multitude of women.
Second, I have yet to meet a purple eyeshadow that I didn’t like and wasn’t flattering. Purple eyeshadow (especially darker shades) and a luscious black mascara make your eyes look sexy and your lashes very long.
Lastly, purple eyeshadows can be layered to create new color combination. A matte and a shimmer of a medium shade purple eyeshadow can be layered to make a purplish-brown on the eyelid. A very becoming neutral on most women.
